With facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest and the likes we so easily stalk, obsess, envy and yearn for the lives of others.
Every one has bad hair days, work overloads, traffic jams, heartbreaks and heartaches but with the self promotion on social network and the exaggeration and emphasis on the 'good life' the observes are left to feel inferior, unsatisfied and dull.
The grass always seems greener on the other side. What we fail to realise is that our social media friends only display that which is good.
We get so busy obsessing about observing other people's lives that we miss out on living our own.
How often does the lives of others become your topic of discussion?
How many hours of a day do you spend on social networking sites observing the lives of others?
Instead, use that time and live your life, make your own memories, create your own smiles and cherish your time.
Here is a good read relating to social media. How not to be alone: http://goo.gl/rKWW5O
