"Mirrored water that reflect my frown,
Butterflies flying in the dusky dawn,
Orchids blooming in the early morn,
Insects scuffling around the bush,
Dams that provide water to give nature a push."
This weekend was such a feast to the senses, I wish I could share with you the essence of what it felt like.
Camping, family, nature and food; a combo I would love to repeat.

SOCIAL Media?
With facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest and the likes we so easily stalk, obsess, envy and yearn for the lives of others.
Every one has bad hair days, work overloads, traffic jams, heartbreaks and heartaches but with the self promotion on social network and the exaggeration and emphasis on the 'good life' the observes are left to feel inferior, unsatisfied and dull.
The grass always seems greener on the other side. What we fail to realise is that our social media friends only display that which is good.
We get so busy obsessing about observing other people's lives that we miss out on living our own.
How often does the lives of others become your topic of discussion?
How many hours of a day do you spend on social networking sites observing the lives of others?
Instead, use that time and live your life, make your own memories, create your own smiles and cherish your time.
Here is a good read relating to social media. How not to be alone: http://goo.gl/rKWW5O

Little Pleasures, Big Smiles- Waking Up With Bird Song
Another little pleasure that summer always brings. One of the sweetest wake-up's when the birds begin to sing.
The chirps of different birds which emanate from the trees, together make the sweetest melodies.
And one thing that is certain of with a morning of bird song, the day ahead will be a cheerful one with sunshine all day long.

Little Pleasures, Big Smiles- Pancakes for breakfast, a five star breakfast
There is something special about pancakes for breakfast. A breakfast fit for a king.
Satisfying the rumbling tummy with some syrup and tea and chatter.
Add a sausage and an egg, some freshly squeezed fruit juice and breakfast is an absolute treat.
But the perfect topping and what brings the most morning smiles is when breakfast is prepared specially for you.
